Haskey, Freda Hope Saginaw, Michigan Loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Tendercare of Midland at the age of 87 years. The daughter of the late Charles H. and Alfreda (Harrison) Brinkley was born on September 11, 1925 in Portsmouth, Virginia. She married Joseph Haskey on August 29, 1944; he predeceased her on November 23, 1989. Freda enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Surviving are her children; Patricia (Jack) Horden, of Beaverton, MI; Cathy (Robert) Schuch, of Conroe, TX; Michael (Rebecca) Haskey of Columbus, GA; 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and surviving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one sister and three brothers. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 6, 2013 at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Tom Schomaker will officiate with burial at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
