Frank Rios Jr. of Merrill, Michigan
It is with great sadness that the Rios family announces the passing of Frank Rios. Frank passed away peacefully on February 13, 2022, surrounded by his wife, Deb, and his daughters, Faith and Hannah. He graduated from Chesaning High School and pursued a trade career, where he received journeyman certification with Consumer Energy. Frank spent his 30 years career as a lineman, serving the public needs for power. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. Frank would stop at nothing to provide for, support, and inspire his family and friends. He was an avid outdoorsman with a special love of fishing.
Frank is survived by Deb, his beloved wife of 38 years; two daughters, Faith and Hannah. Also surviving are 14 siblings, many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father and brother.
A Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 18, 2022, at St. John XXIII Parish, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 419 S. Midland Street, Merrill. Rev. Fr. Michael F. Steltenkamp S.J. will officiate. Rite of Committal will follow in Lakefield Township Cemetery. His family will welcome visitors on Thursday at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Road from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service led by Pastoral Minister Sharon Wahl at 7:00 p.m. Frank will lie in state at the church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
