    Passed away Thursday July 7, 2022 at the age of 91 years with her family by her side. Florence was born August 30, 1930 in Bay City, Michigan, the daughter of the late Alexander and Blanche (Widlaski) Swierzbin. She married Earl W. Pohlman May 30, 1952, Earl and Florence had 47 years of marriage together before his passing on March 26, 2000. Florence then married Victor Margherita he predeceased her.

Florence was a lifetime member of Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, St. Helen Catholic Church. Florence enjoyed helping other’s and spent many years volunteering.

Surviving are her four children; William J (Julie) Pohlman, Suzanne K. Palestos (Doran), Nance A. (Kevin) Kangas and Mary A. (Ricky) Myczkowiak: eight grandchildren; Michael Pohlman, Johnathan Pohlman, Anthony (Natalie) Palestos, Andrew Kangas, Isaac Kangas, Katie Kangas, Garrett (fiancé Kelsey Frazho) Myczkowiak  and Kacee (fiancé Karson Mikula) Myczkowiak; one sister; Rita Soper; two sisters-in-law; Rita Swierzbin and Bonnie Buckelew. Besides her parents and her husband’s she was predeceased by a brother George Swierzbin and brother-in-law Harold Soper.  

Cremation has taken place a private service will take place at a later date. Arrangements by the W.L Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Rd.
