Our loving mother and grandmother, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2019. Age 79 years. Florence was born on August 23, 1940, daughter of the late Joseph and Victoria (Parenteau) Klein, in Warren, Michigan. She married Donald Hoover, Sr. on January 8, 1993. He predeceased her on June 24, 2006. Florence retired from Albar Industries after many years of service and was a member of the U.A.W. She enjoyed playing cards, going on trips to the casino and spending time with her family. Florence will be missed by her children, Robert (Jacki) Klein, Roy Klein and fianc, Mary Spoon, Cindy Damm, Velma (Karl) Whitehead and Mark McIntosh; her grandchildren, Melissa, Carla, John Jr, Heather, Sasha, Sarah, Justin, Katie, James Jr., Jennifer and Joey; great grandchildren, Chris, Mady, Jessica, Tim, Chad, Luke, Jim, Nevaeh, Christopher, Christian, Cameron and Aubrey; her sisters and brothers, Nancy (Dave) Harris, Victoria (Robert) Brown, Larry (Robin) Klein, Yvonne De Klein, Frances (Mark) Thomas, Leona Klein and Herman Klein; her son-in-law, James Damm, Sr. She was predeceased by her grandson, Christopher Allen Damm, her sisters and brother, Margaret, Rose, Viola and Joe. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2019, at W. L. Case and Company, 5700 Dixie Highway. Rev. Bill Bodnar will officiate with burial in Tuscola Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the chapel on Wednesday from 12:00 Noon to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
