Evelyn Mae Whitman

Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend passed away on Friday, April 26, 2024. Evelyn Mae Whitman was born on November 1, 1937 to Edward H. Warriner and Pearl Beach. She will be remembered as a graduate of Saginaw High School with a great sense of humor and a heart full of love. Evelyn was known for her selfless and giving nature, always putting others before herself.

Her life was filled with joy from her beloved hobbies including dancing, spending time with family, and her love for horses. Evelyn was a devoted mother who exemplified what it meant to be funny, caring, and an exceptional mom.

Evelyn Mae Whitman is survived by her children:  Heidi Whitman and boyfriend Jay Abernathy, Joseph (Jennifer) Whitman, Dolores Whitman; grandchildren: Taylor Schultz, Caleb Whitman, Joshua Whitman, James Louchart; great-granddaughter: Paisley Perreault. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends. 

She is now reunited in peace with her husband Joseph Whitman Sr., parents, sister Donna, Uncle Otto.

Funeral Service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Road, Saginaw, 48603. Pastoral Minister Tori Little will officiate. Entombment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
