Evelyn Smith, a beloved woman who graced this world with her presence, peacefully passed away on May 18, 2024, in Saginaw. She was born in Saginaw, Michigan on November 3, 1928. 

She was known not only for her various jobs at K-Mart and in-home babysitting but most importantly for being a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and-grandmother.

Evelyn's love for art shone through in her passion for painting, a hobby that brought her immense joy. She also found solace in knitting and crocheting, creating beautiful pieces for her loved ones. She generously dedicated her time to volunteering at HealthSource Saginaw, showing her kind nature.

Evelyn is survived by her children Don (Donna) Smith, Jack (Joyce) Smith, Jim Smith, and Jeanne Letts; grandchildren Michelle, Paul, Sandra, Nick, and David; and great-grandchildren Elizabeth, David, Tiffany, Noah, and Makayla; great-great-grandchildren: Isabelle and Anthony. She is now reunited with her parents, husband Robert Fay Smith, numerous siblings and her son-in-law B.J. Letts, all of which preceded her in death.

Evelyn will be remembered not only for the work she did but for the love she shared with all those around her. Her kindness and gentle spirit touched the lives of many. As we mourn her passing from this world, let us also celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the everlasting impact she made on those fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in eternal peace.
