Evelyn Mae Main

Main, Evelyn Mae (Diechman) Frankenmuth, MI formerly of Carrollton Twp. Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother went home to the Lord on July 24, 2013, with her family by her side at the age of 87. Evelyn was born March 20, 1926, in Saginaw. She married Roy Main on May 1, 1954; he survives her. She retired from Carrollton Public Schools as a paraprofessional. She was a member of Countryside Trinity Church, VFW Post #1566 Women's Auxiliary, and life-member of VFW National Home for Children. Besides her husband Roy she is survived by her children, Brenda (Kevin) Haines and Larry (Anne) Main; grandchildren, Christopher (Dina) Haines, Renee (Jason) Gillespie, David Main, and Eric Main; and great-grandchildren, Callon Haines and Onnalei Gillespie; and her brother Louie (Jean) Diechman. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 3, 2013, at W.L. Case & Company 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Ken Parker will officiate with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
