Our beloved husband, father, and papa passed away on Friday, October 16, 2026 at the age of 78 years.

The son of the late Roy E. and Martha (Hoffman) Miller was born on September 27, 1948 in Saginaw. He was a proud graduate of Saginaw High School, the class of 1966. Gene then went on to work for the Grey Iron Foundry, retiring after over 30 years of service. Gene married Tereasa Velat on June 17, 1972; she survives him. He enjoyed bowling, golf, cheering on the Detroit Sports Teams, and especially cherished being a Papa to his grandchildren. Gene never missed a sporting event for his grandchildren.

Surviving are his wife, Tereasa, his children: Roy (Tina) Miller, Jodi (Jeff) Atkinson, Nick (Jackie) Miller, grandchildren: Logan, Carter, Espin, Ryan, Jackson, Sawyer, and many relatives and friends.
