     Passed away Wednesday August 17, 2022, at Covenant-Cooper.  Age 101 years.

     The daughter of the late Nina Elizabeth (Medaugh) and John Frank Lewis was born February 19, 1921 in Flint, Michigan. She married Bernard Duby, September 21, 1940. He was killed in action during WWII. Later she married William Daly. He passed away in 1989.   Ethel was employed by the Saginaw Board of Education, retiring with 19 years of service.  She was a member of Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, St. Helen Church.

     Surviving are two daughters, three sons and their spouses, Thressa Zolton; William (Valerie) Daly Jr; Mary (Tom) Anklam; Tim Daly; David (Robin) Daly; 20 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 16 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Two daughters, Brenda McLaren and Sharon McLaren, two grandsons, Jeffrey McLaren and Thomas Daly, a great grandson, Joe Batts Jr. and three brothers and three sisters have predeceased her.

     The funeral liturgy will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at Christ the Good Shepherd, St. Helen Church Parish, St. Helen Church, 2445 N. Charles St. Saginaw, MI 48602.  Rev. Fr. Baltha Raj Bandaru will officiate with burial in St. Andrews Cemetery. Friends may visit with family from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Monday at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel 4480 Mackinaw Rd. where the Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Friends may all visit at the Church from 10:00 a.m. Tuesday until the time of the funeral Liturgy. www.casefuneralhome.com
