Anderson, Erik Michael Saginaw, MI Passed away suddenly Thursday, March 12, 2015, age 34 years. Erik was born February 6, 1981 in Saginaw, Michigan. He was a 1999 graduate of Mackinaw Academy. Erik's enthusiasm for NASCAR as well as classic country music are the beginning of the countless endearing memories that his family and friends will hold close. His greatest treasures were his family, friends and his dog, BO which was demonstrated by his deep love and dedication to them. He left behind a legacy of love, laughter and servantship that gave life and exemplified wisdom beyond his years. His courage revealed that every day was a new opportunity for hope and life. Erik was immeasurably loved and abundantly cared for and his memory will continue fiercely in the hearts of his loved ones. Erik is survived by his life partner, Blake Carrier; parents, Kevin and Rachelle Taylor and Peter Anderson; siblings, Ashley (Nick) Chandler, Bryan (Stephanie) Taylor, Adam Anderson and Abigal Taylor; his grandmothers, Edna Taylor and Mary "Penny" Anderson; nephews, Evan and Isaac; nieces, Kalena, Lily and Keira; many uncles, aunts and cousins, including Emily (James) Bauslaugh. The funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at W. L. Case & Company, 201 N. Miller Rd. Friends may visit with the family at the chapel Tuesday from 4:00 -8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service.
