Martin, Elizabeth E. St. Charles, MI Loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at the age of 99. Elizabeth was born February 28, 1914, in Freesoil, MI to the late William and Barbara (Bittel) Tucker. She worked for Columbia Mills in Saginaw until they closed. She married James E. Martin in June of 1931. He predeceased her October 13, 2000. Elizabeth and James spent many years "wintering" in Florida. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and gardening. She will be missed by her daughter, Nancy L. Zastrow; grandchildren, Steve (Lori) Zastrow, Brian (Zoe) Zastrow, Deb (Joe) Malvasic, Mike (Kim) Martin, and Shelli Brown; and many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Howard (Jean) Martin; son-in-law, Edward Zastrow, grandson, James R. Martin; great-grandson, Jason Burnett; and her sisters, Agnes McIntosh, Mildred Smith, Nellie White, and Lucille Brandt. Funeral services will take place at 1:30 p.m. Friday, July 5, 2013, at W.L. Case & Company 201 N. Miller Road. Evangelist Bobby Hardin will officiate with burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
