Eleftheria Paez, 77, of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022.
She was born on January 30, 1945, in Kozani, Greece, to Vasilis and Eleni Ntontou. Eleftheria attended Delta College and was a parishioner at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church. She was a highly resourceful, emotionally strong, fervent Christian, and shrewd entrepreneur who took great pride in her family and heritage. Eleftheria enjoyed traveling, church choir, gardening, drawing, painting, and for many years, could be found at the annual Greek Festival churning out pastries while charismatically announcing with a smile, "Honey puffs! Come and get your HONEY PUFFS!" Mrs. Paez is survived by her three children; William Paez, Marc Paez and his wife, Kyoko, Melina Paez, along with their children. The Trisagion Prayer Service will be held at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2022. Eleftheria's Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 10, 2022 at St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, followed by the Committal Service at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
