Elaine Grace Schwanbeck Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Sunday, November 22, 2015, at Shattuck Manor. Age 86 years. Elaine Grace Schwanbeck was born July 9, 1926, in Saginaw, Michigan, the daughter of the late Ernest John and Grace Dorothy (Henning) Schwanbeck. She graduated from Saginaw High School, Class of June 7, 1944. She was a golden member of Warren Avenue Presbyterian Church. Elaine's lifetime work of 40 years from 1941 thru 1981 was with the family businesses of Saginaw Creamery Co., Swan Ice Cream Co., and Schwanbeck's Cold Storage, Inc. Surviving are three nephews and two nieces John B. (Carol Ann) Schwanbeck, Saginaw, MI; Janet A. Schwanbeck; Carl E. Schwanbeck, Jr. all of Long Lake, MN; Eleanor (Lenor) McNaughton, Grand Haven, MI; Ronald E. Donoghue, Fruitport, MI; Elaine was preceded in death by her two brothers and one sister, Junior E. Schwanbeck, February 12, 2005, Eleanor E. Donoghue, March 4, 2005 and Carl E. Schwanbeck, March 16, 2005. The funeral service will take place at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday,, November 25, 2015, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Douglas Leffler will officiate with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the Chapel from 10:00 a.m. Wednesday until the time of the funeral service.
