Smith, Edward J. Swan Creek Township Passed away Sunday January 11, 2015 at home at the age of 78 years. Edward was born January 6, 1937 in Fremont Township. The son of the late John Y. and Mary (McCormick) Smith. Edward married Shirley Embree October 15, 1955 she predeceased him September 28, 1996. Edward was a member of St. John XXII Parish, St. Mary Church. Surviving are his children: Janet (Robert) Hahn, Michael Smith, John (Diane) Smith and Sue Ellen (Gary) Hayes: six grandchildren: Lauren Hahn, Alexandra Hahn, Joshua Smith, Emily Smith, Justin Hayes and Gabrielle Hayes: two brother and one sister: James (Alice) Smith, Jean Goidosik and Thomas Smith. Memorial mass will take place 12 noon Friday January 16, 2015 at St. John XXIII Parish, St. Mary's Church, 151 St. Mary Rd. Hemlock 48626.Friends may call at the church on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service.
