Edward Joseph Bogar

Saginaw, MI

Passed away Friday, December 16, 2022, at HealthSource Saginaw at the age of 81 years.

Ed was born on June 4, 1941, in Baltimore, MD; the son of the late Frank Bogar and Marie (Williams) Bogar. He graduated from Holy Rosary High School, the class of 1959.  He retired from the Saginaw News following many years of service.  Ed was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.  Ed enjoyed praying the Rosary, loved playing cards, going out to eat and was an avid Detroit Tigers fan.

Surviving are many cousins, relatives and friends.

Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 22, 2022, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1525 S. Washington Ave.  Rev. Fr. Prentice Tipton will officiate with burial at Mt. Olivet Catholic Cemetery.  Friends may visit with the family on Thursday at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral liturgy.  In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider Holy Family Catholic Church.
