Edith Anne Pepera Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Monday, April 29, 2013, at Covenant-Cooper. Age 85 years. The daughter of the late Bernard and Ann (Kleinfeld) Rombach was born December 22, 1927 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Thomas J. Pepera, Sr. September 6, 1947. He passed away October 8, 1983. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and volunteered with her church and senior citizen groups. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting and loved to bowl and golf. Surviving are a son, two daughters and their spouses, Thomas J. Pepera Jr. and his wife, Rhonda, Saginaw, MI; JoAnne Kekes and her husband, Attila, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada; Janice Dunn and her husband, Douglas Hill, Merrill, Michigan; a son-in-law, Ron Powers; seven grandchildren and their spouses, Eric Dunn and Theresa Ronquillo; Jeremy and Meredith Dunn; Justin Pepera; Nathan and Amy Pepera; Kevin Powers; Chelsea Pepera; Heather Pepera; five great grandchildren, Gabriela, Jonah, Noah, Trenton, Kinley; two sisters, one brother and their spouses, Valerie T. Thomas; Theadotta M and Robert Biggs; Thomas B. and Mary Rombach; two sisters-in-law, Jean Rombach; Joanne Rombach; many nieces and nephews. A daughter, Midge Powers, passed away November 9, 2000; a son, Roger Pepera passed away September 29, 2008; two brothers, Bernard H. Rombach and James H. Rombach have also predeceased her. The funeral liturgy will take place at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 3, 2013, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 5376 State St. Saginaw. Rev. Randy Kelly will officiate with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Thursday where a Vigil service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friends may then call at the Church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral liturgy.
