Passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2017 after a short illness at the age of 82 years. The son of the late Frank and Ann (Suchocki) Kleinbriel was born on October 12, 1935 in Saginaw. He married Kathleen M. Dougherty on June 30, 1962; she survives him. Duane retired from GM after 27 years of service. He had been a member of St. John XXIII Parish, Sacred Heart Church. He enjoyed collecting coins and stamps. Surviving besides his wife, Kathleen, are their children: Thomas (Christine) Kleinbriel, Daniel (Norma) Kleinbriel, Keith (Jeanne) Kleinbriel, grandchildren: Amy (Kevin) Lawson, Nicole (Antonio Martinez) Kleinbriel, Sara (Joe) Morden, Tabatha (Frank) Rodriguez, Kayla Legrow, great-grandchildren: Mariah, Armon, Delilah, Camille, Royal and one on the way and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by a brother Edward Kleinbriel and his sister: Lorraine "Sis" Menter. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 20, 2017 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 125 N. Saginaw St., Merrill. Sr. Phyllis Klonowski will officiate with burial at St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral chapel from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday where the Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. by the Knights of Columbus Council #2291.
