Stroebel, Donna Hemlock, Michigan Passed away with her loving family by her side on Monday, December 28, 2015, age 72 years. She was born on March 6, 1943, daughter of the late Daniel and Edith (Abbott) Kolka, in Grayling. Donna married Frederick Stroebel on May 2, 1964, he survives her. She enjoyed cooking big meals, going to garage sales, being outdoors, camping and gardening. She loved spending time with her family and her pets, Sierra and Rescue. Surviving besides her husband, Fred are her son, Dan Stroebel; her daughters, Renee (Pam Favreau) Zugaro and Gina (Matt) Brown; her granddaughter, Alicia Zugaro; her sisters, Sandra (Kenneth) Stroebel and Martha McMahon; her brother, Al Kolka; also many nieces, nephews, relatives and special friends including, Diana Kolka, Betty Kaiser and Jim (Sharon) Dolorne. Besides her parents, Donna was predeceased by her son, Frederick Stroebel, Jr., her brothers and sisters, Donald, Wanda, Lucille, Charlotte, Kenneth, Virgil, Betty Lou, Genevieve, Evangeline, Richard and Larry. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at W. L. Case and Company 201 N. Miller Road. Fr. Joseph Schabel will officiate. Honoring Donna's wishes, cremation will follow service. Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
