Passed away on April 10, 2024, in Saginaw, MI at the age of 90 years. He was born on January 15, 1934, in Saginaw to the late Joseph and Grace (Villella) Lazzaro. He graduated from St. Andrew High School in the class of 1952, where he also played football. Donald served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and stationed in Korea.  Don worked as a truck driver in the greater Saginaw Area.

Donald was married to Mary Emeott on February 23, 1957; she predeceased him on April 23, 2011. He was a member of the Moose Lodge and found joy in bowling, deer hunting, and card games with loved ones.

He is survived by his children: Patricia Lazzaro, Donald Tim Lazzaro, and Daniel Lazzaro; grandchildren: David Lazzaro, Timothy Lazzaro, Nicholas Lazzaro, Marcial Gutierrez, Don Kapp Jr., Desiree Trevino, Andrew Kapp; great-grandchildren: Trinity, Jade, Kyliegh, Zach, Evan, Damien, Ellie, Matthew, Isabella; his great-great-grandson Grayson; Sister-in-law Grace Emeott and numerous nieces, nephews including Todd Emeott, relatives, and friends including a dear friend Jenny Gutierrez. Don is also predeceased by his twelve siblings.

Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 15, 2024 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 201 N. Miller Rd.   with burial at St. Andrew Cemetery.   Friends may visit with the family on Sunday at the funeral chapel from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
