Donald H. Day

Day, Donald H. Gladwin, Michigan Our beloved father, son, companion and brother, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2016, age 73 years. He was born on December 18, 1942, son of Homer and JoAnn (Webb) Day, in Bay City. He retired as a plumber and pipefitter after many years of service and was also a member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters U.A. Local 85. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. Surviving besides his parents, Homer and JoAnn, are his children; Jeffrey (Erica) Day, Jennifer (Ron) Wood and Joey (Christian) Kopacsi; his grandchildren, Riley, Jack and Mallory Day, Kyle, Brady, Parker and Harper Wood; his companion, Janet LaPorte; his siblings, Harold (Suzie) Day, Dawn (Dale) Orr and Nancy Hoffman; also many other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Gary Hoffman. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 18, 2016 at W. L. Case and Company, 201 N. Miller Road. Rev. Robert Richards will officiate. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the American Heart Association.
