Dixie Friedli Drinan

Dixie Friedli Drinan Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Monday, February 25, 2013, at her home. Age 75 years. The daughter of the late Hans O. and Jessie (Burns) Friedli was born January 23, 1938 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married James H. Drinan, April 28, 1962. He survives her. She had been a member of the Junior League and St. Mary's Hospital Auxiliary, and enjoyed tennis, golf, playing bridge, her garden club and knitting. Surviving besides her husband, James, are a son and daughter, Thomas Drinan and his wife, Lori (Weir) Drinan, Saginaw, MI; Jennifer Drinan, Ann Arbor, MI; two grandchildren, MacKenzie and Thomas James (TJ); a brother, Thomas Friedli, Lake Mary, FL; two brothers-in-law, Frank Drinan and his wife Sandy Drinan; Richard Drinan and his friend, Kathy Ihler; several nieces, great nieces and great nephews. The funeral service will take place at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 1, 2013, at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 5376 State St. Saginaw. Rev. Randy Kelly will officiate with entombment in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. from 3:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday and then on Friday at the Church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
