Dillard C. Ringold of Saginaw, Michigan
Beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at Covenant HealthCare-Cooper. He was 55 years old. Dillard was born on April 4, 1970, in Saginaw, Michigan, to Mary Tillman and the late Louis T. Jones. He attended Saginaw High School and Kaplan University where he was studying Information Technology. Dillard proudly served his country by enlisting in the United States Army serving in Germany for six years as an (E4) Corporal Officer until his honorable discharge. An artistic soul, Dillard found great pleasure and comfort in playing his bass guitar, as well as painting various types of scenery including trees, lakeshores, and sunrises and sunsets. He was also a gifted and talented abstract painter. Dillard also enjoyed spending time fishing throughout the Great Lakes Bay Region. Above all, he treasured and cherished his family, especially his seven grandsons, who made his heart truly feel full and happy. He will forever be remembered as the best storyteller ever, for his wonderful sense of humor, proud of his of children, especially his son, James.
Surviving are six children: James Akins of Saginaw; Ebonie Blyther of SC; Anthony Akins of Saginaw; Gabrielle Ringold of MI; Elijah Ringold of MI; Samantha Ringold of Saginaw; seven grandchildren: Jayden, Ja’Kai, and Ja’Kobi Akins, Ezekiel Mackey, Mari Akins, Anthony Akins, Jr., and an additional newborn; mother, Mary Tillman of Saginaw; and five brothers: Antoine Ringold, Dayron Ringold, Anthony Tillman, Joe Tillman, and Johnathan Tillman.
He was preceded in death by his father, Louis T. Jones.
