Dennis R. Geitman Alpena, Michigan Formerly of Saginaw Passed away Thursday, November 27, 2014, at the Cartwright Residence. Age 73 years. The son of the late John and Dorothy (Fitzgerald) Geitman was born October 17, 1941 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Judith Morrison. She passed away in 2006. Dennis served with the Michigan National Guard and was employed by General Motors, retiring in 1993 with 30 years of service. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed woodworking and carpentry. Surviving are two sons and a daughter, Dennis Geitman II and his wife, Lisa; John Geitman and his wife, Sara; Shelly Johnson; three grandchildren, Ava Grace, Logan and Christina; a brother and sister-in-law, Kim and Carol Geitman; several nieces and nephews. Two brothers, Jack and Gary Geitman have predeceased him. In accordance with Mr. Geitman's wishes, cremation has taken place.
