Dennis John Potts, Sr. of Saginaw, Michigan
Age 76
Died on February 23rd, 2022. Born March 12th, 1945, in Saginaw to the late Donald & Mary Ann (McFarland) Potts, Dennis was a student of Arthur Hill High School prior to his employment at General Motors as an assembly line worker. He married Sharon L. Potts (Lehr) on New Year’s Eve in Las Vegas. She preceded him in death on July 20th, 2018. Dennis spent his free time watching sports, the Price is Right, and Days of our Lives, and loved playing Bingo. He enjoyed breakfast at Fuzzy’s and a Big Buford from Rally’s. Dennis also enjoyed collecting coins and was rarely seen without his prized straw hat. Dennis is remembered as being a kind, outgoing, and giving person, and took pride in being a good father to his children.

Dennis is survived by six children: Dennis (Susan) Potts, Jr., Jeanette (Rick) Talik, Barbara Potts, Jeremy Potts, Michael Potts, and Amanda Valliere, 19 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, former wife Jackie Brennan (Crampton), stepmother Mary Ann Potts, numerous cousins, other family members, friends, and his faithful dog Rocky.

Dennis was preceded in death by his former wife Ann Marie Randall, one brother, and three aunts and one uncle: Mariet, Virginia, Willum, & Ester.

In accordance with Dennis’ wishes, cremation is to take place. A celebration of Dennis’ life will take place on March 12th, 2022 at 11:00am at St. Dominic Parish, Ss. Peter & Paul Catholic Church.
