Deena K. (Tany) Holley

Saginaw Township/Traverse City, Michigan. April 3, 1958 - July 1, 2026

Passed away after a lengthy illness on July 1, 2026, at the age of 68 years. Deena was born on April 3, 1958, to Jack T. and Joan Tany. She is survived by her son Jeffrey Dupuis, Traverse City, Michigan, brother Jack B. Tany and sisters Cheryl (Mike) Wagner, Pam Bremer, Michelle (Tim) Bell along with many nieces and nephews. Deena was predeceased by her son Jason E. Dupuis, husband Thomas R. Holley, and parents Jack T. and Joan Tany. Deena had a degree in Criminal Justice and worked at the Saginaw Correctional Facility for 23 years before she retired.

She received her contracting license in 2004 from the University of Michigan and operated D & H Contracting. Deena loved her many flowers and plants and enjoyed doing yard work at her home. She was a volunteer for the Saginaw Rescue Mission and belonged to St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.

A private committal has taken place and Rev. Fr. Steve Gavit will officiated with interment at St. Andrews Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the charity of their choice.
