Beloved wife, mother, daughter, aunt and friend passed away suddenly on Friday, June 26, 2026 at the age of 46 years.
The daughter of Linda (Michael) Zietz and the late Victor Garcia was born on December 28, 1979 in Saginaw. She graduated from Bridgeport High School, the class of 1998. Debra then got her RN degree and worked at Avista Nursing Home. Debra married Steve Weaver on September 14, 2002; he survives her. She enjoyed watching movies, baking, cooking, and traveling around the state. Debra enjoyed the holidays and loved decorating her house and yard. A caregiver at heart, she cherished spending time with her family and taking care of them. She was loved by many for her caring heart.
Surviving besides her husband, Steve, are their children: Elise Weaver, Steven Weaver Jr., her cats Mela, M.J., her mother and father, Linda and Michael Zietz, her mother and father-in-law: Daniel and Diana Weaver, brothers-in-law Dan, Robby, and Matthew Weaver, a dear cousin Steve Munger, her best friend and sister, Liz King and many relatives and dear friends. Besides her father, Victor, Debra was predeceased by several loving pets.
Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 2, 2026 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 5700 Dixie HWY. with burial at Birch Run Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral chapel on Wednesday from 1:00-3:00 p.m. and 5:00-8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
