Debra Anne Lagalo “Debby”

Saginaw, Michigan

Our loving daughter passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 9, 2024. Age 62 years. 

Debby was born on March 7, 1962, daughter of Sharon (Roberts) and the late Roger Lagalo, in Saginaw. She completed her education at the Melvin G. Millet Learning Center and had been employed at Kroger for 19 years. She enjoyed caring for others and volunteered at the Adira Nursing and Rehab Center, formerly Samaritas and Luther Manor for many years. Debby loved participating in the Special Olympics, camping, car rides, casino trips and feeding small animals in the backyard. She was very thoughtful giving coloring pictures and Valentine’s Day cards to those she cared for. Debby will be remembered for her loving spirit and big hugs. 

Surviving are her mother, Sharon Lagalo; cousin, Kathie Sonnenberg; aunts and uncles, Tina and Jerry Lagalo, Joan and Tony Lagalo and Elaine Roberts; several cousins; her special friends, Lois Raymond and the Waters Family. She was predeceased by her brothers, Roger and David Lagalo, uncles, Bill Roberts and Ronald Lagalo. 

Memorial Service will take place at 12:00 p.m., on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at W. L. Case and Company, 201 N. Miller Road. Elder William Waters will officiate. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday at the chapel from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the Humane Society of Saginaw County.
