Beloved mother and grandmother passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at her home, with her family at her side, at the age of 78 years.

The daughter of the late Alexander and Marjorie (Hudson) McAllister, Deanne was born on September 17, 1944, in Alma, Michigan. She graduated from Alma High School. Deanne continued her education at Central Michigan University. She married her “partner in crime”, Jerry M. Schramke on July 31, 1965, they shared 51 wonderful years together. He preceded her in death on November 11, 2016. Deanne retired from Consumer’s Energy after 36 years of loyal and dedicated service. She was a member of the St. Charles United Methodist Church. Deanne enjoyed card making, being outdoors, and swimming. Deanne loved animals. She and her husband would frequently travel the United States. Above all, Deanne cherished the time spent with her family and loved ones.

Surviving is her son and daughter-in-law: Todd and Rachel Schramke; grandson: Max Schramke; brother: Lee (Tressa) McAllister; sisters-in-law: Loreen McAllister, Joyce (Richard) Neuenfeldt. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Besides her husband and parents, Deanne was preceded in death by her brothers: Infant Mark McAllister, and Everett McAllister.
