Loving mother, grandmother and friend passed away on Friday, June 26, 2015 at the age of 63 years. The daughter of the late Harland Bubel and Virginia (Cooper) Bubel was born on January 20, 1953 in Port Huron, MI. She was a member of the Saginaw Valley Church of the Nazarene, and was devoted to the Lord. A single mother, she loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren and was an excellent cook. Surviving are her children: Jon (Nichole) Baird, Shawn Baird, Angel Preston, Melanie Preston, and granddaughter: Anna Petrie, and her sister Charlene Thoms, brother, David Bubel and many nieces, nephews, relatives and dear friends. She was predeceased by a daughter, Holly (Preston) Noe. Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at the Saginaw Valley Church of the Nazarene, 1815 Tittabawassee Rd., Saginaw. Rev. Randall E. Owens will officiate with cremation to follow. Friends may visit at the church on Wednesday from 12:00 noon until the time of the funeral service.
