Dawn "Bugs" Michelle King of Merrill, Michigan

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, aunt, cousin, and friend passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 15, 2023. She was 50 years old. Dawn Marie Langley was born on November 3, 1972, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Jerry Jan Goldman and Ellen Marie Langley. She was a proud graduate of Williamsport High School. Following graduation, Dawn attended Penn State University. Through mutual friends, Dawn met Jason L. King. They dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage on April 20, 2012; he survives her. She worked as a waitress/server throughout the Merrill Community. The role of her lifetime, one she treasured and cherished, was to be loving, dedicated, and devoted wife and mother. Dawn enjoyed spending time fishing, reading a good book, and watching all types of horror movies, especially anything with vampires and werewolves. She was a free spirit and enjoyed dancing and being silly. She will forever be remembered as a sweet and loving spirit, a woman with a kind and generous heart, and for love and devotion to her family.

Surviving are her husband of 11 years, Jason L. King of Merrill; four children: Mercedes McGraw, Joe Cox, Gaige Kersting, and Kaylee King; four grandchildren; mother, Ellen M. Gallagher of Breckenridge; father- and mother-in-law, Debbie and Dan Beetley of Merrill; two sisters: Jacklyn Gallagher of NJ; Megan Gallagher of Philadelphia, PA. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Jan Goldman. Honoring the family's wishes cremation has taken place.
