David Robert York, 66, of Saginaw, Michigan passed away on June 16th after a battle with Parkinson's Disease. Dave was born on May 28, 1957 to Robert and Sally York in Saginaw, Michigan. After Dave graduated from Swan Valley High School, he enlisted in the US Navy. He was assigned to the USS Leftwich and was stationed in Okinawa, Japan and San Diego, California. He received his bachelor's degree at Central Michigan University and became a Project Manager at EDS followed by John Hancock. Dave's greatest accomplishment in life was becoming a father to Amelia and Isabel. They were his greatest treasures! People loved and always commented on Dave's great sense of humor. He had a love of music, especially Bob Dylan. His knowledge in music was extensive and he loved to share it with everyone he met. He also loved cooking and collecting comic books.

Dave is predeceased by his father Robert York, sister Sue White, brother Mark York, and niece Courtney Favazza (York).

He is survived by his mother, Sally York; daughters: Amelia and Isabel York; sisters: Kathy
York and Kristen Kindle (Ernest); brothers: Michael York (Hortencia) and Todd York (Tracey); former spouse, Sybil York; along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at Ascension Lutheran Church at 8695 Gratiot Rd, Saginaw, MI on July 17, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. Friends may call at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, Hospice of Dayton, or a music program of your choice.
