David Allen Schrader of Saginaw

Passed away on Thursday, August 25^th, 2022, at the age of 71. David was born on March 5^th, 1951, to the late Ernest & Nina (Smith) Schrader, and was a 1969 graduate of Arthur Hill High School. David spent most of his working life for Delphi, retiring after 33 years. In his free time, he enjoyed playing pool, going for walks around the neighborhood, and swimming. He also loved listening to the Beatles and watching the Detroit Tigers. David is remembered as being a quiet and introspective man who enjoyed his time alone, and as someone who loved his family.

David is survived by children Lisa & Tyson Eimers and Eric Schrader; grandchildren Brayden, Grace, Carson, and Luke Eimers; and siblings Barbara Dinsmoore, Nancy & Mark Derhammer, and Lori & Tom McGarrity; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and friends.

The family would like to give thanks to the care that Lori and Nancy gave David throughout the years.

In accordance with David’s wishes, cremation is to take place. A memorial service celebrating David’s life will take place at 12:00pm on Monday, August 29^th, 2022, at W.L. Case & Company, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Saginaw, Fr. Steve Gavit presiding, with visitation at the funeral home from 11:00am until the time of service.
