David Reyes Jr. Saginaw, MI David died after a brief illness at the age of 39. The son of Olivia Soto Bivens and the late David Reyes Sr, was born April 11, 1979 in Saginaw, MI. David graduated from Arthur Hill High School in the spring of 1997. After graduation, David served his country admirably in the US Navy for 4 years. He went on to wear many hats in life, none more coveted than that of father. His two girls, Kendall and Makenna, were the absolute light of his life. In addition to being an excellent father, David enjoyed Red Wings hockey, New England Patriots, San Francisco 49ers football and professional wrestling, which we will try not to hold against him. He was an exceptional commissioner in the fantasy football league he ran, and used sport to bring people together for some truly unforgettable memories. But above all else he was a great friend, brother, son and all around wonderful human being. Surviving besides his mother, Olivia, are two daughters, Kendall J. and Makenna R. Unger, three brothers, Luis E. Reyes; Tomas S. Reyes and his wife, Sarah; Tyler I. Bivens; two nieces, Madilyn O. and Alexis Q. Reyes; his step-father, Dwayne C. Bivens; his special and dear friend Nikki R. Unger; his honorary brothers, Steve O'Rourke; Robert Moncada; Kyle Bingham; John Cielma; A.C. Narvais; Adam Rohrer; many aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends. Friends and family may visit at the W.L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Saginaw, from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 24, 2018.
