David Bradley Mize

Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend passed away on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at Covenant HealthCare – Harrison, with his family at his side. Age 53 years.

The son of Dale Wayne Sr. and the late Debra Jean (Ochsankehl) Mize, David was born on August 22, 1972, in Saginaw, Michigan. He attended Birch Run School and later earned his G.E.D. He married Denise Ann (French) Gates on June 6, 2013, and they shared many wonderful years together. She survives him. David was self‑employed in various construction projects and attended First Baptist Church. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed riding motorcycles and four‑wheelers, walking, and fishing. Above all, David cherished the time spent with his family.

Surviving besides his wife, Denise Mize; are their sons, George Gates, Steven Maturen; father, Dale Wayne Sr; brothers and sister, Dale Mize Jr., Marcy Mize, and John Mize. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. Besides his mother, David was preceded in death by his sister, Denna Mize.

Honoring David’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private memorial service will take place at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to W. L.
