David Allan LeHotan

David Allan LeHotan, 90, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Saturday, October 29, 2022.

David was born in Cleveland, Ohio on August 30, 1932, to the late Joseph and Thelma (Henes) LeHotan. He served his country in the United States Air Force and was a Korean War Veteran. David married the love of his life, Dianna DePottey on July 4, 1964, and remained devoted to her until his last breath. He spent his early years as a truck driver and had a lengthy career as an autobody repairman.

David was a loving and dedicated family man. He leaves behind his wife of 58 years, Dianna (DePottey) LeHotan; his four children, David LeHotan Jr., Kristen (Timothy) Foster, Linda Kutch, and Nathan LeHotan; his beloved grandchildren Sarah LaRoe, Deanna LeHotan, Heather (Robert) Terwilliger, Lindsey Foster, Samantha LeHotan, Tyler Jackson, and Zachary LeHotan. Also surviving are his great grandchildren Dillon and Jaydon Tillitson, Haylee, Addison and Carter LaRoe, Isabella Terwilliger, Ellie Davis, and Callie Bittner; brother Jan (Margie) LeHotan, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. David is predeceased by his parents Joseph LeHotan and Thelma (Henes) LeHotan.

David’s funeral liturgy will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, November 4, 2022, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 1525 S. Washington Avenue, Saginaw. Rev. Fr. Prentice Tipton will officiate with burial to follow at St. Andrew Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of mass at Holy Family Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the American Cancer Society.
