    Passed away Thursday April 20, 2023, at Covenant – Cooper, at the age of 91 years. David was born January 15, 1932, in Lawrence County Indiana.                  He married Delores Nunn, and she predeceased him on September 9, 2014. He then married Freda Hewitt and she survives him. David served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Bridgeport. David retired from Prestolite as manager of engineering.

 

Surviving besides his wife Freda are his three sons; Gregory Dalton, Steve (Connie) Dalton, and Bradley (Holly) Dalton; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two stepchildren Alfred (Elaina) Hewitt, and Anne (Ryan) Keller.

 

Besides his wife Delores Dalton, a son Marc Dalton, twelve brothers and sisters predeceased him.

 

Funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Tuesday April 25, 2023, at First Baptist Church of Bridgeport, 2400 King Rd. Bridgeport, where the family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. Tuesday until the time of the service. His son Bradley Dalton will officiate. The burial will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery.
