Throughout his life, he worked as a wholesale lumber distributor for various companies, retiring after many years of loyal and dedicated service with Jim White Lumber Sales. The role of his lifetime was to be a loving father and grandfather. As a young man, Dave, both played baseball as well as coached for the Saginaw City Little League. He was a longtime member of the Saginaw Country Club, enjoyed reading, and spending time with his cherished dog, Sid. His little piece of heaven was spending time on the golf course and cheering for the Detroit Tigers.
