Prince, Dave Belton St. Louis, Michigan (formerly of Wheeler) Passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Mid-Michigan Medical Center, age 80 years. Dave was born in LaFeria, Texas February 10, 1935 the son of the late Shannon W. and Guadalupe (Perez) Prince. He married Hortensia Perez December 8, 1963 and she survives him. Dave was an 11 year survivor of cancer. He enjoyed working on small motors and tractors, gardening, fishing, deer hunting and spending time with his grandchildren and family. He served as a foster grandparent for several years at the Carrie Knause Early Childhood Learning Center. In addition to his wife, Dave is survived by three children, Cindy (Jose) Elias, Dave Prince, II and Geri Prince; five grandchildren, Nina Prince (Gary Sobek), Erika Elias, Jose Elias, Jr., Dominic Prince and Serena Prince; a great-granddaughter, Amara Prince-Sobek; two sisters, Georgie Ramirez and Lola Rodriguez; several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will take place 3:00 p.m. Saturday, October 17, 2015 at W. L. Case & Company in Merrill. Friends may visit with the family at the chapel Friday from 2:00 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until time of the service.
