Darlene “Dolly” Faye Fuller of Hemlock, Michigan
Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on Friday, November 14, 2025. She was 96 years old. Darlene Faye Crawford was born on March 5, 1929, in Emporia, Kansas to the late Daniel and Florence (Helberg) Crawford. She married William E. Fuller on February 22, 1951; he preceded her in death on December 14, 1995. For 23 years, she and Bill traveled across the United States and Germany as an Army family. A gifted and talented seamstress, she lovingly designed and created her daughter’s clothing, altering clothing, and crocheting. Dolly and Bill enjoyed playing Bingo, going to Soaring Eagle Casino, and playing cards with friends. She would often spend time at the Hemlock Senior Citizens Center where she was able to eat lunch and play cards with all her friends. Dolly also enjoyed working on puzzles, watching Wheel of Fortune, playing cards with her family, and playing Yahtzee with her family and caregivers. She will lovingly and forever be remembered for her sweet and sassy personality.
Surviving are three children and their spouses: Joyce (Dale) Buddle Jr. of Hemlock; Dan (Kimm) Fuller of Freeland; Gerald (Marcia) Fuller of Texas; eight grandchildren: Stacie, Christopher, Michelle, Jennifer, Dan, Stephani, Chelsie, and Rachael; 15 great-grandchildren; one brother, Wayne Crawford of KS. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Fuller; and a son, Wm. Christopher Fuller; as well as all of her aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Covenant At Home Hospice for all the love and care they provided to Dolly and the family. Also, a special thank you to all the independent caregivers that Dolly’s had over the last 6 ½ years that treated her like they were her own family.
