Rocha, Daniel Saginaw, Michigan Our loving father, grandfather and brother, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 19, 2015, age 72. He was born on September 27, 1943 in McAllen, Texas, son of the late Frank and Juanita (Saenz) Rocha. Daniel served in the U.S. Army and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Baker College. He retired from GM after 15 years of service as a maintenance supervisor. He loved music, playing the guitar, singing in the choir as well as karaoke, enjoyed camping and fishing trips with his children. Daniel is survived by his children and their spouses, Daniel (Heather) Rocha, David (Kristine) Rocha and Diane (Scott) Schatzer; his grandchildren, Marissa, Dylan, Dominic, Morgan, Andrew, Madeline and Kayla Rocha; his brothers, Frank (Ida) Rocha, Jr. and John Rocha; also many special friends, including his "Drake's Family". He was predeceased by his granddaughter, Brittany Rocha. Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 910 N. 6th. St. Fr. Joseph Schabel will officiate with burial to follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at W. L. Case and Company , 4480 Mackinaw Road on Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and a prayer vigil will take place at 7:00 p.m. Friends may also visit at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
