Caring father, grandfather, great-father, son, brother, uncle and friend to many. He left this world suddenly on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at the age of 63 years. The son of the late Helen McCoy and Harvey Johnston, Danny was born on October 8, 1958 in Saginaw, Michigan.

Left to carry on his memory are his father: Robert McCoy; daughter: Jennifer St. Onge; Robbie Hernandez; granddaughter: Shianne Cox; great-granddaughter: Adalynn King; sisters: Linda Meyer, Karen Martin; brothers: Tim Johnston, Jim Johnston, David Johnston, Mark Johnston, Jerry Johnston, Ed McCoy, Don McCoy, Bob McCoy; and his girlfriend: Lisa Bingham. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother: Helen McCoy; father: Harvey Johnston; and he is reunited with his son: Dean Johnston, what a joyous reunion they must be having.

Honoring Danny’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family service will take place at a later date. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Old Town Christian Outreach.
