Nicol, Daniel L. Burt, Michigan Passed away with his loving family by his side on Thursday, December 31, 2015, age 65 years. He was born on October 2, 1950, son of the late Lawrence and Martha (Arvo) Nicol, in Saginaw. Dan married Jeannette Mackley on August 3, 1968, she predeceased him on December 12, 2014. He retired from Steering Gear, Plant 6, after many years of service. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and going on gambling trips to Las Vegas. He loved to spend time with his family and his Bassett Hound Ginger. He is survived by his son Daniel Nicol, Jr. and his fianc, Becky Lytle; his grandchildren, Madisyn, Paige, Daniel III and Keegan Nicol; his brother, Nathan (Nancy) Nicol; also many other special relatives. Besides his wife Jeannette and his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Dennis Nicol. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at W. L. Case and Company, 5700 Dixie Highway. Rev. Robert Richards will officiate with burial in Blumfield Twp. Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the chapel from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
