Daniel passed away at his home unexpectedly on May 28, 2021 at the age of 63 years. He was born on February 14, 1958 to the late Cornelius and Donna (Rogalski) O’Brien in Saginaw. Dan was a graduate of Bridgeport High School, class of 1976.

He was a member of the Montrose Eagle’s Club. Dan enjoyed trips to the Casino, watching old TV shows including Westerns. He also loved to watch sports, especially the Tiger’s and the Michigan State Spartans. Dan had lots of knowledge of random facts; he was an excellent trivia player. Above all he will be remembered for being social and having a good time.

Dan is survived by his children; Luke (Sarah) O’Brien, Jillian (Michael) Spitzley, one grandchild: Quinn O’Brien and a second on the way. He is also survived by his siblings: Becky O’Brien, Rachel (Calvin) Roenicke, Neil (Connie) O’Brien, Laura (Phillip) Lindstrom, Amy (David) Cook and his long time friend Gloria Hanes, and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Daniel was predeceased by his sister Bridget Conrad.

Honoring Dan’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation will take place on Friday, June 4, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m at W.L. Case and Company (5700 Dixie Highway, Bridgeport). A time of sharing will take place at 6:30 p.m. Friday. Pastor Bill Hessler will officiate.
