Passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 22, 2021, at the age of 52 years. Dan was born February 15, 1969, to Sharon and Dan Lago Sr in Saginaw, MI. Dan was employed through Local 47 as an Insulator. Dan enjoyed fishing, hunting, and especially spending time with family and his precious granddaughter, Mahkenna. Dan is survived by his wife Laurie (Locke) Lago of Gladwin, his children; Pauline (Brad) Young of St. Charles, Austin Lago of St. Charles, Alexandrea (Eldee) Lago of Gladwin, granddaughter; Mahkenna Miiller. Also surviving are his parents; father- and mother-in-law Jack and Sandra Locke, sister; Shannon (Tom) Hill, and a large, loving extended family.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 28, 2021, at W. L. Case & Company, 125 E. Saginaw, Merrill. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday at the funeral chapel from 9:00 am until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may consider the wishes of the family, c/o Laurie Lago.
