Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Craig Albert Kade, on September 29, 2026. He passed peacefully at home. Craig was 54, of Breckenridge, MI. He was born in Saginaw, MI, on February 23, 1972 to Donna Kade and Albert Espinoza.

Craig finished school in Merrill, MI and dedicated many years of his life traveling in the millwright manufacturing industry. He was a man of diverse interests. He had a passion for sports and collecting memorabilia. He was a loyal follower (super fan) of the Detroit Lions and Red Wings, always ready with gear on to cheer them on. Craig also found joy in hunting and the freedom of riding his Harley Davidson, adventures often shared with his many friends. Music was another significant part of his life, watched Jeopardy answering 90 percent of the questions. Craig had fun watching talk shows, mostly Jerry Springer. To relax, he loved working with his hands, building things and remodeling our home. His biggest achievement was purchasing his house and digging his pond. He was proud to have a safe and fun environment for his son, Dayne, and then to follow, he turned it into our family home. His passion was spoiling his children that he was very proud of, and his grandchildren he adored.

Craig is survived by his loving wife, Dawn Kade, and their four children, Dayne (Karina) Rohn, Kayla May, Dustin (Kayla) Gilmore, Mandy (Zach) Gilmore; seven grandchildren, Brodee, Blake, Leia, Colt, Avery, Ruger, and Idalia; His mom, Donna Kade; Two sisters and one brother, Kandy Powers, Amanda Espinoza, and Austin DeLucia; and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind two stepmothers, Patti Morse and Judy Rinz.

Craig was predeceased by his dad, Jay Rinz, and his biological dad, Albert Espinoza. Also, his cousins, Tony Garza, Ron Gilmore, Uncle Ringo, Uncle Tom, Uncle Bob and Aunt Diane.

Craig was a social butterfly and leaves behind many good friends. To name a few, his work buddy, Randy, Terry and Bill, Bob and many guys from Marion Springs. From childhood through adulthood, he was like a brother to many. And let’s not forget the special sistas; Lisa, Kelly, Michelle, Amanda and Melody.

In honor of Craig’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that those who wish to offer support consider making a small donation toward his funeral services, headstone, and other final expenses. Any contribution would be greatly appreciated. Most of all, the family is grateful for the love, prayers, and memories shared in his honor.

Arrangements have been entrusted to W.L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603.
