Hernandez, Consuilo (Connie) Saginaw, Michigan Went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 8, 2015, age 81 years. Connie was born on March 16, 1934, in San Antonio, Texas, daughter of the late Visente and Prisiliana (Ruiz) Garcia. She married Nicholas Hernandez, he predeceased her on December 30, 2013. She loved taking in new pets and caring for them. Connie enjoyed dancing, going for long rides in the car, shopping and spending time with her loving family. She is survived by her children, Richard Vasquez, Jr., Vince (JoBeth) Vasquez, John Vasquez, Anthony Vasquez, Julian Hernandez, Bonnie Reeder and Elizabeth (Miguel) Hernandez; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; her sister, Tomasita (Domingo) Rodriguez; also many other special relatives and friends. Besides her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Marie Espinoza; her sons, Ruben Hernandez, Paul and Jeff Vasquez and her son-in-law, Larry Reeder. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Anthony of Padua Site, 3680 S. Washington. Fr. Thomas Schmied, ofm., Cap. will officiate with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may make a donation to the family's wishes.
