Gus was born May 16, 1931 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Maria and Nicholas Paron. A wonderful husband, father, grandfather and uncle, he gave a lifetime of service to his community and church. Member of AHEPA and the St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, he was a fixture at the Greek Festival every summer logging many tireless hours. Besides his wife, Marge, he is survived by three children, Dr. Nicholas Paron, and his wife Julie, of Saginaw, Connie Paron-Kelso, and her husband Ron, of Saginaw and Thomas Paron, and his wife Ann, of Woodbury, Connecticut, seven grandchildren, one great granddaughter, countless neices and nephews and two sisters Thalia Schunk and Stella Carmichael. He was predeceased by his parents, sister Cleo Powder and brother Paul Paron. Gus was the man with a big wide smile, always tinkering, always busy.
