Krieger, Clarence H. Saginaw, Michigan Passed away on Friday, January 24, 2014 at Saginaw Geriatrics at the age of 94 years. Clarence was born on April 5, 1919 in Byron, Ohio the son of the late George and Emma (Robinson) Krieger. His family moved to Saginaw in 1931. He married Bertha Gillam on June 28, 1941; she predeceased him on January 24, 1987. Clarence later married Dora Huegle, she predeceased him on October 8, 1999. He was a member of First United Methodist Church where he served on the Board of Trustees, Music Committee, and was a member of the church for over 60 years. Clarence was employed at the Saginaw Post Office, retiring in 1981 with over 38 years of service. He also served in the U.S. Army during WWII. Clarence enjoyed walking, and was part of the walking club at the mall and gardening. Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law: Gregory (Jill) Krieger, two grandchildren: Harold (Shanyn) Krieger, Heath (Sonia) Krieger, three great-grandchildren: Emmalee, Karley, and Toby, his brother, George (Sharon) Krieger, and many nieces and nephews including David (Laura) Krieger. He was predeceased by two brothers Don D. Krieger, Robert Krieger, and a sister, June Barrigar. Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at First United Methodist Church, 4790 Gratiot Rd., Saginaw. Rev. Kathryn S. Snedeker will officiate with military burial at Roselawn Memorial Gardens under the auspices of V.F.W. Post #1859. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday at W. L. Case and Company, 201 N. Miller Rd. from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. and at the church on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
