Clara Elaine Lauer Saginaw, MI Loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 3, 2017, at the age of 64. The daughter of the late Charles and Gretchen (Lutz) Lauer, Clara was born on January 28, 1953, in Alma. After graduating from Merrill High School, she attended Delta College and Murphys Beauty School. Clara loved spending time with loved ones and spent a majority of her life taking care of others. Her contagious laugh and smile will be greatly missed. Surviving are her son, Price Lauer; grandchildren, Larissa Lauer and Nik (Jasmine) Lauer; great-grandchildren, Cameron Taylor and Keylee Lauer; and her siblings, Art (Betty) Lauer and Edna (Mike) Marks. She was predeceased by two brothers and a sister: Bill Lauer, Charles (Betty) Lauer, and Elizabeth (Dave) Hughes. In accordance with Claras wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 30, 2017 at the Merrill Wesleyan Church, 3765 N. Chapin Road. Those wishing to make donations may be directed to the family.
