Christy Kay Brown Saginaw, Michigan Passed away unexpectedly Friday, September 12, 2014. Age 29 years. The daughter of Ed and Nancy Brown and the late Theresa (Hatzke) Brown was born December 10, 1984 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was a graduate of Heritage High School, attended Delta College and was a Certified Nurse's Assistant. She had been employed by Covenant and several area nursing homes. Christy was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed reading and loved Slurpees. Surviving besides her step-mother, Nancy, and her father, Ed, who was also her best friend, are two children, Mackenzie and Aiyden; her brother and sister-in-law, Josh and Brandy Brown; two nieces, Paityn and Avery; a nephew; several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives. She was predeceased by her mother, Theresa and her grandparents, Lois Brown, Joseph and Elizabeth Hatzke. The funeral service will take place at Noon Wednesday, September 17, 2014, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Fr. Robert Deland will officiate with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery.
